Why outline before you write

An outline is the cheapest place to fix a post. Moving a heading takes seconds; rewriting 600 words that went in the wrong direction takes an afternoon. A good outline also shows gaps early, such as a question your reader will certainly ask that you have not answered yet.

How to turn the outline into a strong post

  1. Check the order. Read only the H2 headings. Do they tell the story from the reader's problem to the solution?
  2. Cut what you cannot support. Remove any section you have no real knowledge, example or source for.
  3. Add proof. Plan where screenshots, data you can cite or your own results will go.
  4. Answer real questions. Replace the FAQ placeholders with questions people actually ask, for example from customer emails or the "People also ask" box.

Before you publish, run the draft through our checklist on fact-checking AI-generated content.

Frequently asked questions

Is the blog outline generator free?

Yes. It is free with a fair-use limit per hour and per day, and you do not need an account.

What does the outline include?

One H1 title, five to eight H2 sections with H3 points under each, a short note on what each section should cover, and a frequently asked questions block at the end.

Will the outline rank on Google by itself?

No tool can promise rankings. The outline helps you cover a topic in a logical order. Rankings come from content that is genuinely helpful, accurate and better than what already exists, so add your own experience and sources.

Can I write outlines in other languages?

Yes. Type your topic in your language, or enter the language you want in the Language field.

Is my topic stored?

No. Your text is only used to write the outline and is not saved or used to train AI models.
